Abstract

This project aims to investigate narratives in the media systems of the BRICS, particularly in the context of two countries that make up the block, Brazil and India. Under this project, at first, what interests us in particular is the research of the production and transnational media strategies, in particular of production and processes systems, considering its conditions, narratives and logics. It is understood that the study itself, through the literature review and inclusion in the field to carry out in-depth interviews with scholars, mainly Indians, will foster dialogue with researchers of the Communication area who are dedicated to the topic and/or work in India. From the point of view of method, it is a qualitative research, which is consisted of literature review and, in comparative studies, content analysis. If necessary, history of life method can be used. Finally, from the point of view of sharing of results, it is expected the release of partial findings through participation in scientific events in the country and abroad and the publication of papers in national and international journals, as well as the edition of a book with final research results.
