The research group of structures fire safety (GPESI) of the Department of Structural and Geotechnical Engineering of the Polytechnic School of USP, led by the requester, has been very active in this area, including areas not searched outside the Group, in Brazil.The GPESI research comes from years. The initial phase of the research was dedicated to understanding the behavior of materials and basic structural systems in fire. I have about 200 publications in journals, books and proceedings.Now I intend to continuum the analysis of structures in fire, but using more advanced way, seeking the most realistic study of behavior of the structures, especially of the concrete, considering the determination of the thermal field, the geometric and materials nonlinearities in which shall include cracking and redistribution of efforts; the restriction of thermal deformation (axial and rotational), for example the effect of the thermal gradient; nonsymmetrical fire etc .. It is proposed also to create computational tools appropriate to Brazilian standards, and further feeding the Portal created in the previous Project, to create efficient ways of disseminating the results of research. This Project can be understood as a continuation of the previous FAPESP project 2013/02435-4.The request of this Project is the acquisition of the Swedish software Super Tempcalc. For over 10 years, followed software licenses have been acquired thanks to support from funding agencies (eg, the current was supported by FAPESP - the cost of 2 years is equal to 25% of the perpetual licence). After years of insistence, the author of the software finally agreed to sell the program for perpetual use. (AU)
