Abstract
With the Confocal Microscope, together with the Electron and the Scanning Microscope recently acquired via projeto INFRA-USP, also from Carl Zeiss, it will be possible in the future to integrate both microscopes functionally, since both possess a communication module that affords dual analyses of fluorescence and scanning electron microscopy images. With that, it will be possible to perform compared morphological studies of high complexity, providing a unique tool of great importance for the elucidation of biological phenomena associated with morphofunctional nature. In this way, the incorporation of the new Confocal Microscope to the CAIMi will certainly bring great impact to the several research groups, increasing the quality of the academic and professional formation of undergrad and grad students.
