Abstract
The intended goal is to assemble a dark chamber for photon-counting experiments with bio-samples. The setup uses 7 photomultiplier tubes simultaneously operated to provide spectral (by filters) and/or spacial (sectioned detection) discrimination. First applications will be on sensing of ultra-weak light emission in germination tests, to determine the locality, the periodicity and spectral range of such spontaneous emission. This project runs in parallel to a collaboration started with U.Bristol, where the joining of photonics and micro-vibration sensing looks for new insights in the early development of seedlings. (AU)
