Abstract

This project aims the investigation of statistics and mathematical techniques applied to biosystems optimization, as examples optimal dengue control, optimization of process in sugar and ethanol companies, optimization of digestion process in biodigester and optimal planning of radiotherapy for the treatment of cancer. The project is part of the activities developed in the Graduate Program: Biometrics and Agronomy (Energy in Agriculture), UNESP and will be developed in the Department of Biostatistics IB UNESP, Botucatu, SP, Brazil.
