Abstract

Professor Hoong will participate in the following activities: Schedule of activities22 and 23 August (Location: IFUSP/São Paulo)-Visit to the Institute of Physics at USP, to the São Paulo State Cancer Institute and the Institute of Radiology of the Hospital das Clinicas, School of Medicine, USP;-Conducting investigations with the Group of Dosimetry Radiation and Medical Physics Department of Nuclear Physics Institute of Physics this period, prof. Hoong should contribute to the following project:--Experimental Determination of Average Glandular Dose Distribution in Different Qualities of mammographic Beams (process FAPESP 2013/07117-0).August 29 and September 2 (Location: IFUSP/São Paulo)-Conducting investigations with the Group of Dosimetry Radiation and Medical Physics Department of Nuclear Physics Institute of Physics this period, prof. Hoong should contribute to the following projects:--luminescence study optically stimulated in BeO and CaF2 (FAPESP process 2012/13534-0)--characterization and applications of dosimetric materials using optically stimulated luminescence and complementary techniques (FAPESP 2010/16437-0 process)--Minimizing the Lung Doses In Pediatric CT (IAEA/CRP E2.40.20 process)-Visit to the Institute of Physics Gleb Wataghin/Unicamp which should collaborate with Prof.. Alessandra Tomal in the projects:--Evaluation of breast volumetric density in Brazilian women based on mammographic images; and--Development and implementation of methodologies for optimization of imaging techniques in digital radiology (FAPESP 2015/21873-8 process)01 and 02 September (Location: IFUSP/São Paulo)-Participation in a Graduate short course on radiological safety in diagnostics imaging (Preliminary Title: Radiological Safety and Quality: Paradigms in Leadership and Innovation)-24 and 27 August (Location: Florianópolis-SC)-Participation as a guest lecturer at the Brazilian Congress of Medical Physics, to be held in Florianópolis, where he will give lectures. (Note: The air tickets and subsistence expenses of the researcher to participate in this congress will be due to the Brazilian Association of Medical Physics, and are not being asked to FAPESP).03-07 of September (Location: Natal-RN)-Participation as a guest lecturer in Physics Meeting 2016 to be held in Natal, which will give lectures. (Note: The air tickets and subsistence expenses of the researcher to participate in this congress will be due to the Brazilian Physics Society, and are not being asked to FAPESP).-08 and 09 September (Location: IFUSP/São Paulo)-Conducting investigations with the Group of Dosimetry Radiation and Medical Physics Department of Nuclear Physics Institute of Physics this period, prof. Hoong should contribute to the following projects:--the Master Projects of students Victor Santoro, Louise and Lorraine Ginsante Robayo and doctoral projects Leandro Mariano and Alejandro Lopez-Gonzalez, all IFUSP and fellows of CNPq and Josilene Cerqueira Santos, scholarship FAPESP (FAPESP 2013/07117-0 process ) (AU)
