Abstract

The Brazilian normative guidelines for the Interdisciplinary Bachelor degree courses on Science and Technology establish a set of parameters, skills, attitudes and values as prospective attributes for the graduates leaving University, especially at the professional level. Positive aspects of psychological conditions and, particularly, conditions of social competence and general professional skills permeate such parameters. This research proposal aims at assessing competences and psychological conditions of students who are concluding or completing an Interdisciplinary Bachelor degree on Science and Technology. Around 300 students attending the 6th (last) semester or have concluded the bachelor degree will be interviewed using the Adult Self-Report (ASR) and the Generic Skills Scale. The proposal opens claims for continuity and expansion of research activities into systematic and longitudinal assessment of the graduates in their insertion in the labor market. (AU)
