Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the serie concentration of HMGB1 in OÁ patients before and after rehabilitation program and to correlate the levels of this biomarker with the patients' functional capacity values. The hypothesis of this study is that, rehabilitation program attenuates inflammation systemically and locally in patients with knee osteoarthritis by suppressing the HMGB1 levels, and also that HMGB1 is a new biomarker of improvement outeomes of knee osteoarthritis.
