Abstract

Professor A. Inoue is one of the most important scientists involved in the areas of amorphous, metastable and nanocrystalline materials. The activities during his visit of 02 months will be associated with the research group at DEMa/UFSCar responsible for the FAPESP thematic project "Processamento e Caracterização de Ligas Metálicas Amorfas, Metaestáveis e Nano-Estruturados". The research activities of Prof. Inoue will benefit directly 10 research projects financed by FAPESP (09) and CNPq (01) all of them associated with the development and properties of amorphous, metastable and nanostructured metallic alloys. Specifically, in addition to the main research activity in development of advanced metallic alloy the proposed activities include seminars, technical meetings and lectures in the Graduate Program in Material Science and Engineering of UFSCar.
