Abstract

The connection between USP's campuses consumes considerable funds from the University's budget with the hiring of telecom operators. The construction of its own fiber infrastructure connecting the campuses seems to be a viable and sustainable alternative in the long term to meet the demands of increasing traffic without corresponding increase in costs. This project proposes the construction of a pilot section linking two cities of the interior of the state and the connection of the other campuses in the next phases. (AU)
