Abstract

Analytical techniques of non-linear dynamics have mostly been developed within the framework of mathematical applications. However, as recent research in theoretical high energy physics and in particular in the areas of black hole physics and cosmology has shown, these techniques have many applications in these areas as well and complement the existing numerical techniques. Within this project, we are interested in developing these tools further and understand how they can be used to complement and extend the knowledge of physical phenomena in the non-linear regime.
