Abstract

The program of the 1st. Workshop on Transfer in Reinforcement Learning (TiRL) involves two invited talks, papers presented and discussions on the various topics related to transfer learning (TL) and reinforcement learning (RL). Authors are encouraged to submit to any of the following categories: Research Paper (8 pages in length), in which an original contribution to the field is expected; Short paper (2 pages in length), in which the authors should either provide an extended abstract of ongoing work relevant to the workshop, or a highlight paper, summarizing full papers that have been published or accepted for publication at most 1 year before the workshop deadline. We expect to accept 7 Research Papers and 6 Short Papers (4 ongoing work and 2 highlight paper).We aim to bring together researchers working on different aspects to improve TL for RL with the goal to solve more complex problems more efficiently. We intend to make this an exciting event for researchers worldwide, not only for the presentation of top quality papers, but also to spark the discussion of opportunities and challenges for future research directions.
