Abstract

With the visit of Prof David Aubin, we intend to evolve a early collaboration developed since December 2012 in the following aspects: make in progress a jointly research on the French astronomer Emmanuel Liais and the circulation of books and instruments between France and Brazil in the Second Empire; develop a project in order to submit in the future to FAPESP and ANR (Agence Nationale de Recherche); establish some cooperation agreements between Univesité de Paris 6 and Universidade de São Paulo; presentation of a mini-course on history of astronomy to the graduate students; make in progress the dealings on the potential supervising by Aubin of a PhD student of our group.
