Abstract
There are several difficulties of radiotherapy planning in our country, because there are few hospitals have even if not total solutions for radiotherapy planning. The very position of the regions at the time of examination is handcrafted. In some hospitals, this step is accomplished through the use of templates and marking paints, as a kind of temporary tattoo to the correct marking region application of radiation. Recently the Federal Council of Medicine, chose to recommend the use of radiotherapy planning software generating a huge demand for this solution. Currently this need and demand are real not only to São Paulo as well as national scene. It is necessary to build a solution for increasing accuracy and improving the radiotherapy treatment process in public and private hospitals in Brazil, creating an alternative 100% domestic product and cost the Brazilian reality for systems of this nature. This project aims to build software for this Brazilian urgent need. (AU)
