Abstract

In this project, the University of Campinas team and the University of Miami team will join forces to conduct a two- parts research. The first part regards multimedia recommendation, which is the problem of automatically finding adequate elements in a large multimedia collection. The second part comprises audio transformation through the development of new audio and video features and of new feature transformation techniques. The research effort will be distributed so that the first part receives double the attention given to the second part. (AU)
