Abstract

One of the aims of the Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo (ICESP) is to constitute an Excellence Center for Research in Oncology, which should be internationally recognized. Investment in research activities is therefore necessary. Research activities are coordinated by two administrative offices, clinical research facility and the center for translational research in oncology. Both offices map the need for research infrastructure at these two research hubs. The plan for usage of the institutional overhead will support common activities at the Clinical Research Facility and Center for Translational Research in Oncology. (AU)
