Abstract

In the context of Numerical Analysis for partial differential equations, this project considers adaptive finite difference schemes using wavelet tools. The numerical solutions are represented on sparse grids where the points are indicated by significant wavelet coefficients. The method is applied for the simulation of Maxwell's equations in 3D.
