Abstract

In the current context of competition between the organizations inserted in a globalized environment, it becomes necessary to consider the international scenery in order to plan and manage the acting of the enterprises. The research problem of this thesis is how potentiate a higher internationalization of the alcohol fuel produced by the enterprises of the sugar-alcohol sector. We consider, given the process of deregulation and internationalization of this sector initiated into 1989, the high rates of efficiency and productivity reached by Brazil in the production of the alcohol and the international scenery with an increasing demand of this product; it is essential that the enterprises of the sugar-alcohol sector of Brazil develop concrete strategies that make possible a higher expansion of its degree of internationalization, mainly regarding the alcohol fuel. For so much, the general objective of the present study is to develop a model for the formulation of strategies of internationalization of the alcohol fuel produced by the enterprises of the sugar-alcohol sector in Brazil. The approach of this inquiry is of qualitative type, being a study of the explicative type regarding its objectives. A study of multiple cases will be done, more precisely, it will be studied the principal enterprises identified in the sugar-alcohol sector of Brazil which produce alcohol fuel and have a higher degree of internationalization.
