Abstract

This project work in the field of the ethnoarchaeology, more specifically on the archaeology made in indigenous territory. With this aspect as cloth of deep, the intended is a reflection about the contemporary archaeological practice exerted in indigenous territory in Brazil, taking in account the accumulation of debate in the anthropology and archaeology on alteridy that can bring good incomes for this practical archaeological. In special it is the analytical method of the symmetrical anthropology that will help to observe the practice of the scientist wich the indigenous conceptual formularizations. It is in a etnografy made between scientists, between archaeologists, this practices and afterwords can be verified besides can demonstrate the possible decurrent tensions about the indigenous vision of this practical.
