Abstract The objective of the project is to investigate the process of phase separation in the deconfinement phase transition of QCD, with particular interest on the effects on the finite size of the system. The projects aims to investigate the formation of domains with the formation of interfaces between the confined and deconfined phases, in the presence and absence of quarks. The study will be conducted by using the traditional techniques of dynamical phase transitions, in which the time evolution of the process of phase conversion is described by phenomenological equations of the Cahn-Hilliard and Ginzburg-Landau type, for conserved and nonconservedorder parameters respectively. | |
