Abstract

The goal of this project is to determine the simplest, yet still general form of the pairing field in a relativistic model of asymmetric nuclear matter, taking into account the algebra associated with the complex value of the field, the (broken) isopsin symmetry and the algebra of Dirac matrices. With this study, we hope to determine if pairing configurations other than those already found exist, in particular, if isovector n-p pairing modes exist.
