Effect of enzymatic complexes use on performance and increase of feed energy in broilers

Abstract

The objective of this experiment is to evaluate the effect of the supplementation of enzymatic complexes on the performance and the increment of metabolizable energy and protein digestibility of the ration of broiler chickens. A total of 2,592 day-old male chicks Cobb-500 will be used in a completely randomized design with seven treatments (a positive control diet based on corn and soybean meal without enzyme; a negative control diet number one formulated with decrease of 3% of apparent metabolizable energy (AME), amino acids and crude protein (CP); diet three, negative control diet number two with decrease of 2% of AME, amino acids and CP; diet four, negative control 1 more 400 g of the complex (80,000 kNU of alpha-amylase and 140,000 FBG of beta-glucanase); diet five, negative control 2 more 400 g of the complex; diet six, negative control 1 more 500 g of the complex B (80,000 kNU of alpha-amylase, 140,000 FBG of beta-glucanase and 100,000 FXU of xylanase) and diet seven, negative control 2 more 500 g of the complex B), being treatment 1 with 6 replicates and the others with 7, in a total of 48 experimental parcels with 54 birds each. An feeding program with 2 phases will be adopted: 1 to 21 days and 22 to 42 days. The performance characteristics will be evaluated (feed intake, weight gain, feed conversion, viability and index of production efficiency) and after the metabolism assay will be determined the variable: N-corrected apparent metabolizable energy, dry matter and crude protein apparent digestibility coefficients of the diets. The productive characteristics will be analyzed using the program SAS (1996) and the differences between the averages verified for the test of Tukey (5%).
