Abstract

The present project has as objective to build and evaluate quantification tools and analysis of the heart rate variability according to the non extensive paradigm of Tsallis in the modelling of the heart rate regulation system, and in the discrimination of normal situation and cardiopathies to support the cardiopathies diagnosis. The heart rate regulation system is widely known as non linear. This study will explore this characteristic, quantifying the complexity through a family of conditional entropies no extensive, and non linear spectral analysis. It is expected to contribute with the creation and validation of computational tools that can aid in the diagnosis of diseases related to alterations in the autonomic regulation of the heart rate.
