Abstract

Endometritis represents a major problem to the clinician once this disease harms the herds fertility. There are many diagnosis techniques for this disease but they all vary in practice, sensibility and specificity. The present study has the finality of verifying the endometrial cytology and the ultrasound techniques sensibility and specificity. 120 Holstein Friesian cows will be evaluated. The endometrial cytology and the ultrasound results will be compared with the histological evaluation and submitted to statistical analyses. (AU)
