Abstract

The discarding of the produced sewer is a great problem in the world. An alternative is its recycling in the biosolid form, used as fertilizing and conditioning of the ground.For being rich in organic substance, it plays role of basic importance in the aggregate formation, in the capacity of kation exchange and water retention being, therefore, very important in the regeneration of degraded ground. However, one of the biggest concerns how much to its use it is related with the heavy metal presence and its possible entrance in the alimentary chain, through the locomotion of these metals for parts of the plants that can serve of food for microorganisms and wild animals gifts in the ecosystem. This objective research is to evaluate and to monitor the efficiency of rates of biosolid proceeding from the Station of Treatment of Sewer of Jundiaí/SP (CSJ) in the degraded ground recovery, its influence in the development of eight tree species of Mata Atlantic and the heavy metal presence in the ground and plants.
