Abstract

The doctorate project entitled "Location and Identification of Harmonic Sources in Power Distribution Systems by Intelligent Systems" has as main objective the development of new intelligent strategies, mainly based on artificial neural networks and fuzzy inference systems, which will be integrated with conventional signal processing methodologies and optimization technique by decomposition in orthogonal components for voltage and current waveforms in order to identify those consumers and their respective loads that are contributing to harmonic distortion in power distribution feeders.
