Abstract The dynamical system associated to the orbital motion of artificial satellites with mean motion commensurable with the Earth's rotational motion is analyzed. This analysis can be applied to orbits of small and high eccentricities and inclinations. A suitable sequence of canonical transformations reduces the system to a kernel that can be integrated. The stability analysis of the motion in the neighborhood of the exact resonance is done. | |
