Abstract

Taking subjectivity as a (re)construction process, this research aims to understand how desire, (in)visibility and exclusion processes are articulated in the life experiences of lesbians who live in the interior of São Paulo State, in what says respect to their subjectivation processes. Continuing and expending our study initiated on our master thesis, that studied the ways that stigmas and stereotypes of lesbianity influence narratives of lesbians' life histories, we also intend to articulate themes as formation of speeches and biopower. Through the previous study, we believe that stigmas and stereotypes on lesbianity are based in a viriarcal and sex/gender system and in heteronormativity, all tools of the biopower. In addition, we learned that lesbianity is only accepted when it is made invisible or when it comes compatible with the rules that sustain biopower. Using gender as an analytical category, women who fells attraction and/or have affective-sexual relationships with another women will participate of this research, who live the interior of the State of São Paulo, in the region of Assis city. Our goal is to apprehend their subjectivation processes, relating their desires to the social registrations of (in)visibility and exclusion. With the results of this research we expected to contribute to expand this subject which is very little in the field of Psychology.
