Abstract

The etiology of the psychomotor symptom for a long time has been obscured and related exclusively to neuronal injuries and disturbances, in which there were only reeducational treatments. With the psychoanalitical studies of this symptom made by J. Lacan & M. Mannoni, the etiology has become gradually clearer, and related it to the familiar fantasy in which the child is immersed, as an object of satisfaction, to the point that hasn´t been given him a leaving space for an autonomy and the necessary independence to his development. This way, the present work aim at research the formation and the type of symptom and enjoyment of child and mother involved in this relationship, in addition to the possibilities of treatment and its difficulties. To accomplish this research it will be performed clinical attendances and bibliographic reviews of psychoanalitic conceptions of researches made for the treatment of children with psychomotor symptoms.
