Abstract

This work aims to develop a formulation for pile-soil interaction analysis where the piles are submitted to horizontal and vertical loads. In this formulation in addition to the displacements equations their derivatives will also be used. These last equations lead to a higher degree in the singularities but allow the adoption of more refined approximations for displacements and tractions along the pile. The formulation will be extended to analysis of groups of piles that can be inclined or not. (AU)
