Abstract

The human immune system provides a rich source of inspiration for computer systems security. Besides the fact that it represents a model that very closely resembles the conditions in which most of these systems exist, the immune system has many features that are desirable for a security system. This work proposes the implementation of hardware resource control and other functionalities for an immune security framework developed at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) by the Immuno Project, providing a common and stable software development plataform for the project's researchers.
