Abstract

This research aims to study how the results external assessment called Saresp feed public policy evaluation of basic education institutions in the State of São Paulo, in conjunction with the internal assessment policies that are applied at schools, focusing on teaching math. This study will also examine the international context in which the practice of evaluations lies and earns its political and pedagogical meaning. For this, will be made hermeneutical analysis about official texts, educational legislation and so will be studied researches about evaluation. Will also be done interviews with mathematics teachers, students, principals, coordinators and supervisors to understand how SARESP is related by cited actors of education. (AU)
