Abstract

This study is to investigate the fundamental proposition speeches of opposition to agricultural biotechnologies peasant social movements of women in Brazil and Argentina. For both, are provided for steps that involve: literature search, interviews with experts for theoretical development and conducting field research in both countries. The conceptual discussion and results will be based mainly on the perspective of Social Studies of Science and Technology and author contributions that help understand the context of social struggles on the field in Latin America. This tesis aims to discuss issues related to technoscien and new biotechnologies and provide support for a critical and analytical understanding of the point of view of social movements on those topics.
