Abstract

Through the information weights at different ages of Nelore cattle raised in Brazil, will be evaluated the application of structured antedependence models (SAD) as an option for random regression (RR) in the study of repeated measures. O model used includes the fixed effects of contemporary groups and age of cow at calving classes, and random effects as additive direct, additive maternal, animal and maternal permanent environment. A comparison between the methodologies SAD and RR will be held through the components of variance and genetic parameters.
