Abstract

This research objectives to represent social exclusion processes in Brazilian middle cities by the chorematic modeling, establishing links between urban poverty and social inequality in the elementary space structures. Mind these objectives, the study is a starting point for identification of kind of relationship between higher level technology services and use of the territory by social actors. More than to measure and to quantify, this project aims to analyze why the present poverty is not located and conjectural, but permanent and global ones. The differentiated use has great striking in the centrality and the inequality, as regional as intra-urban scales. In the same way, these services allow to the association of production processes and reproduction of the social inequality with the circuits of the urban economy. Because that, the chorematic theory will have very important to representation of the used territories by income population in the Brazilian middle cities, resulting a dynamic and multidimensional understanding about the Brazilian urban reality.
