Abstract

The goal of this research consists of a study of demography and slave labor on coffee farms of Bananal, between 1830 and 1888. From the post-mortem inventories, the inquiry will allow the analysis of the coffee production components to examine the exploitation of labor-slave during the nineteenth century.
