Abstract

This project has as objective the subject on Walter Benjamin's autobiography. More precisely, we intended to analyze the author's said "confessional writings", looking for to understand the way as he feels the subject's constitution in such writings. For that, we will take into account the peculiar form for which Benjamin seems to negotiate his identity in those narratives, that is, breaking up with the linearidade idea and transparency of the subject. This way, the author seems to turn possible the development of an allegorical reading of his autobiographical texts. That reading seems to work with the constants transformations - that, per times, seems even to express contradictions - suffered by Benjamin's subject along his confessional writings.
