Abstract

This survey of Consolation to the tribulations of Israel, pastoral dialogue Usque Samuel, who came to press in the city of Ferrara in 1553, allows, in addition to studies that have already been executed in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, a deeper scrutiny of its functionality textual, in turn, reflects the cultural history of the European season and the relationship between Judaism and Christianity in the sixteenth century.The work, composed in three dialogues - one of the most widespread genres of writing practices of the period sixteenth century Europe - has in its internal organization elements that form its textual unit and provide, through the perceptive of rhetorical genres of his time to composition, resources the composition of dialogue that become important arguments for the contemporary reading of the narrative.
