Abstract

In this new IC design, the student will do a study on the restoration of distribution networks for electricity Medium Voltage (MV) and the automation system for the automatic restoration of such networks. It is intended to address issues relevant to the problem of automatic restoration of MT networks. In this case, studies will be done on fault current in MV networks, topological determination for the restoration of MT networks (normally open state of the keys - NO, and Normally Closed - NC), digital automation system for automatic restoration and the implementation and operation of this automated system to promote the restoration of automatic MT networks. Furthermore, we intend to conduct a survey on the procedures to determine the sequence of switching to effect automatic restoration. Based on this sequence and switching through considerations, simulations and analysis of results for some testing will be done using existing software restoration distribution networks MT. MT systems to be tested will come from companies in the electricity distribution and / or available in the literature.
