Abstract

Aiming to contribute to the solution of the "disorientation problem" - difficulty to reorient the endoscopic objective to the interest area after successive commands to change its angular orientation have been applied, image-based algorithms for 3D reconstruction will be analyzed and implemented. It is expected that, in the near future, such algorithms will compose the kernel of a computer-aided endoscopic navigation system.
