Abstract

SummaryThis research has the purpose to contribute to the research "Theoretical and technical knowledge about the city between Europe and the Americas: professionals, ideas and techniques on the consolidation of a urban culture in the state of São Paulo" under the FAPESP Thematic Project titled "Erudite knowledge and technical knowledge in the configuration of urban space: São Paulo state, XlX and XX centuries". The specific purpose of this research is to continue the Essays of Catalogation adopted as a research strategy of the Unesp - Bauru team, using as an object of study the Agronomic Engineering Courses of Polytechnic School of São Paulo, whose beginning and closing took place in the period from 1893 to 1911.
