Abstract

The system of collaborative consultation presents itself as an opportunity to work to assist , collaborate and cooperate with the various players in schools : school; teachers ; Family and consultant - expert , to meet the demand for school-age children with behavioral problems and learning . In this sense , the present work aims to determine the effects of a collaborative program developed by a consulting professional with Special Education teachers at the public basic education , which indicate that students submit Special Needs . It is participatory research , whose investigative path is qualitative / quantitative design with pre-test -intervention - post-test . To do so, data will be collected through ten instruments distributed among the participants : students and their parents , teachers and specialist / researcher ( a) . The consultant will carry with intervention planning , from the knowledge of the needs of the students and their teachers ; involve the establishment of a partnership with systematic support among teachers , some days a week, plus extra-class activities planning , reflection on practice , meetings with family and directed study. Data will be collected at pre-and post-testing and also during the development of the program . Quantitative data will be analyzed according to specific criteria of the instrument and applied to descriptive statistics . However , the qualitative data will be analyzed according to three stages : a- ) Pre -analysis ; - b ) Exploration of the material ; c - ) treatment of the data , the proposed content analysis . The data obtained in the pre and post-test are compared to verify the effectiveness of the activities developed during the given advice . This study aims to contribute to the area of Special Education constituting an important topic for educational practice .
