Abstract

In Brazil, only since the 1990s the educational research began to focus on teaching practice and pedagogical knowledge, putting into play the personal and professional development of teachers. In this context, we started to consider how much "lifestyle" personal is related to the professional. Keeping this in view, and assuming that students recognize the knowledge of experience, the teachers who marked their lives, values and knowledge that can support their social practice aimed to (a) identify the most significant aspects of the life trajectories for the students formation in Physical Education Degree Course of a Paulista State University, class of 2008 - the first group to be formed with the new curriculum restructuring, (b) reveal the different aspects that make up the knowledge of experience in the students practice, (c) elucidate the social spaces that is significant from university life to the initial formation. This is a qualitative research, case study, with the data collection techniques of participant observation and semi-structured interview and how technical analysis of the data content analysis. The participants are 21 undergraduate students in Physical Education of UNESP - Rio Claro, the first group that was formed after the restructuring of the curriculum.
