Abstract

The growing use of software systems in business has resulted in a search for quality so as to increase access agility to reliable information. To obtain quality software, several practices must be incorporated to the development process, among which is project management. Although managing techniques have been perfected, studies show that software development project results are still a long way from the ideal. Due to this, successful organization's software development have adopted a more complete approach towards development processes. Nowadays, besides managing their projects, such organizations are investing in a process of individual qualification and strict monitoring of team members called Personal Software Process - PSP, which has led to maintenance of greater discipline and control throughout all development phases and, consequently, an increase in the rate of successful projects. In this context, this project aims to integrate the techniques proposed in the PSP model with a web project management support system. By qualifying human resources and supplying precise information about team members to the project managers, it will be possible to contribute towards developing a quality software and to deal with project restrictions.
