Abstract

This work is subject to continuing education in service and search for strategies that enabling attends the needs identified in teachers that work in the first cycle of basic education with regard to the management of factors that interfere decisively in student learning. With the requirements of contemporary times, its need to conduct research that focuses on the teacher at them own workplace and, therefore, it’s propose a study that aims to in-service continuing education as methodological guide to action research. The theoretical framework is based on the most recent works that address the concepts of in-service training of profissionality teacher, the training needs and also the studies of the action research component of the currently trends. The data will be achieved through techniques and tools appropriate to the chosen methodology, ie, direct observation, oral records of group meetings, surveys exhaustive information about the location of research and occurrences of them everyday life. The data analyses are also consistent with the methodology, by making use of content analysis and the establishment of categories from the empirical observations. With this, the aim is reaching the criteria that are suited for the development of strategies for continuing education which has the participation of the interested as principle. (AU)
