Abstract

The object of research is to analyze the role of the sketch design in the creative process for architects and students. The aim is to identify the cognitive actions performed during the initial phase of the project from the graphic records and analysis protocols. For this analysis will be reviewed projects carried out by three experienced architects, three novice architects and three students of architecture. (AU)
