Abstract

Aiming at reflecting about the identity practices constituted by representations of children and teachers inscribed on the discourse produced in blogs in sites that deal with teaching English to children, we will examine a selection of blogs from the electronic address: http://www.inglesonline.com.br/category/ingles-para-criancas/P5/. The work will rest upon the theoretical and methodological basis of the French Trend Discourse Analysis, and, consequently, the research will be qualitative and interpretative involving the analysis of the linguistic materiality of the selected discourse under the light of its conditions of production, with resource to a research tool that gathers the anchoring and delegation procedures that characterize representation. Besides the determination of the identity practices of children and teachers constituted in the discourse of teaching English to children, the expected results are the development of skills and abilities necessary to the trainee researcher, as well as the production and divulgation of knowledge that can be relevant to a better understanding of educational subjects as their discourses, what is essential to enable actions on the instituted governamentality regime.
