The mainly aim of this project is the construction of the hadron-quark phase diagrams using two distinct models concernig its degrees of freedom. On the hadronic side, the thermal model, that includes the baryonic decuplet, will be connected to recently proposed Polyakov-Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model (PNJL) that describes the physics of interacting quarks. Such a model will be generalized to its SU(3) version by including the strange quark, besides the light ones u and d. The differents parametrizations of the PNJL model will also be compared. A possible appearance of the quarkyonic phase, that presents chiral symmetry restoration and confined quarks, will also be investigated in the PNJL model. In particular, we will also investigate such a phase in a comparison with results coming from the holographic models for a large number of partons.
