Abstract

Technologies aimed at increasing productivity and reducing the intense use of natural resources must be investigated to ensure the sustainable management of the production system. Thus, this work has the objective of evaluate the effect Azospirillum brasilense and of sources and nitrogen rates in maize cultivated in no-tillage system in two regions at two sowing dates. It will be assessed: content of total N in the soil at 0-20 cm; NH3 losses through volatilization; final population of plants; plant height, height of ear insertion; stem diameter, plant dry matter, N content of leaves, number of rows of kernels per ear, number of kernels per row; mass one hundred grains, grain yield, agronomic efficiency of N applied, cost of production and profitability.
