Abstract

Paradoxically to the technical-scientific advances and the progress of biomedical science, we find a problem in modern medicine that has long been perceived- both by patients, healthcare professionals and also by the intellectual circle: dehumanization. Therefore, there is a widespread today - from health services to universities - of several proposals in humanization with the attempt to solve the problem of dehumanization. Being linked to the project "The Pathologies of Modernity and the Remedies of Humanities: research and experiment", number 2010/50448-0 FAPESP , the project that follows has the objective to discuss the current "humanization solutions", working on two parallel fronts: survey and bibliographical revisions of the current proposals to humanization solutions; and qualitative analysis of Oral History, interviewing graduate students of the Federal University of São Paulo with the objective to evaluate the impact and effect of the proposals. Thus, this project aims to discuss the problem of "humanization", giving a clear theoretical basis for discussion. Nevertheless, it aims to evaluate the real impact of current proposals to humanize the graduate of the Federal University of São Paulo. (AU)
